Healthspace.Asia: Social Network and Jobs Listing for Asia Health Professionals

HealthSpace.Asia is a social networking site for health professionals working in Asia:

This is a collaborative research and policy development platform for inclusive health development in Asia.

We work to foster collaborative actions among existing networks, policy makers and researchers with interest in health policy and research. Please feel free to participate in our online discussions and share your experiences with us.

There are a ton of current event listings on the site right now and, best of all, a dedicated classifieds page, which currently lists several hundred openings in Asia-based health and development positions. There is also a feature which allows you to make your own group and host forum discussions on any number of topics.

The focus of the content is on India and the ASEAN, and it will be interesting to see, going forward as healthspace.asia develops how the themes of the ASEAN stack up against China.

(Also, the site isn’t clear about this, but the team behind it is composed of a number of highly regarded organizations, among them the Rockefeller Foundation funded project, Asian Trends Monitoring.)
