From All Roads Link To China Blog: China Private Health Services VID

Posted by Damjan DeNoble

Pretty remarkable interview on the rise of private market healthcare in China originally posted by Richard Brubaker on All Roads Link to China Blog. CEO of Parkway Health Medical Centers Jonathan Seah is interviewed and explains why the higher costs of private healthcare are justified. He has to walk an interesting line here in order to not rile up the Chinese public which is used to an outpatient visit costing 10RMB (plus, of course, the mandatory ‘customary’ red envelope payment). China now, too, it seems is becoming aware of its own healthcare brand.

There are some issues viewing the video on YouTube from China, but it seems that viewing them from the All Roads works.
